Eskdale Eco Launch Event!

Wednesday 28th September was an exciting day for us as we welcomed local businesses and proud parents to our launch event.

Our Year 10 Dancers overcame some nerves for their first live performance as a group

to open our evening with a fantastic environmentally themed performance. Local MP, Sir Robert Goodwill came to offer his support and hear our amazing students present their business ideas and LocoSoco, our business partners and mentors were there to cheer us on and offer an array of fabulous products to taste test. We were also thrilled to have Rebecca and Dave from the Whitby Community Fridge come to the event also as we really admire their work and would love to do some projects along side them.

Eskdale Eco presented their Thrift Store concept to the audience and launched their own online shop which can be accessed here: https://www.eskdale-eco.co.uk/

Cliff Southcombe, CEO of SEi International commented 'The young people at Eskdale School have worked with great dedication to form these business ideas through passion for the planet and a desire to make a change in the world.''
