We were so excited when Sam Cannon from Be:yond Green came to visit us to discuss the next stage of planning our very own event at Eskdale School! It will be part of a roadshow that will visit all of the home towns of our SPEED partners across Europe.
We're calling it the 'Future of Humanity Tour 2022' and it's going to be amazing! This is such a wonderful experience for our students as they get to work alongside an experienced events promoter to put together this 2 day event with live music, talks, workshops and all the extras you would expect to find at a festival event.
Sam explained all the various roles needed to make the event a success and asked students to choose a group based their interests. They picked from: Sustainability, operations, content, marketing and PR. It was a tough choice for many students! We are looking forward to having zoom meetings with Sam soon to investigate these roles further.
